Job Title: Recovery Services Manager

Reports to: Executive Director

FLSA Status: Exempt

Date Prepared: January 2026

Summary:

The Recovery Services Manager's responsibilities will be to manage and deliver recovery programming, manage the RCA staff, and manage daily operations of the recovery department at Crestone Wellness. You will facilitate 12 step and other recovery curriculum, groups, lectures, and individual recovery support to the clients at Crestone Wellness. You will manage and direct the delivery of recovery services in any capacity that pertains to a client’s 12 step treatment plan, specifically the creation, implementation, and coordination of the 12 step services offered including programming, crisis intervention, and milieu management. You will work closely with the multidisciplinary treatment team at Crestone in order to maintain a unified treatment approach with every client, as well as uphold the philosophy and standards set forth by the organization.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GEDrequired.
  • 3+ years of experience in the SUD/BH treatment industry and program management required.
  • Formal education in behavioral health, addiction studies, or a related experience preferred.
  • Applicable certifications in areas like CPR preferred.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following, and other duties may be assigned:

  • Identify,monitor, and implement necessary improvements to departmental processes, service delivery, operations, and department-related systems to maximize efficiency and impact.
  • Coordinate with other agency directors to improve collaboration, coordination, and efficiency in areas of operational overlap.
  • Provide personal and individualized recovery support via semi-frequent and consistent individual sessions with CW clients.
  • Monitor progress and be able to effectively direct a recovery-oriented treatment plan, as well as effectively share and communicate relevant information with the CW treatment team.
  • Effectivelymonitorand measure through targeting key performance indicators the efficacy and impact of service delivery,making adjustmentsor
  • improvements as necessary to improve care and service efficiency.
  • Uphold all Crestone Wellness policy and procedures and act in ways that preserve the integrity of the therapeutic alliance between the program and the patient.
  • Supervise daily client activities and manage the client milieu to ensure accordance with program rules, schedule, guidelines, and deliverappropriate groupand individual behavioral interventions when necessary.
  • Providethoroughaccurate, andtimelydocumentation of all client activities/actions.
  • Maintain the safety of the clients and the security of the facility
  • Oversee and manage the delivery recovery-based groups and lectures including but not limitedto:content, schedule, scheduling/personnel, compliance/accreditation, and program philosophy
  • Oversee daily recovery operations for all levels of care including sober living environments. This includes budgets related to the department.
  • Ensure effective coordination of care delivery andappropriate directcare support is provided toRCAteam.

Language Skills:
