What you can expect as a Market Research Analyst:

  • Collect and organize data from regulatory bodies (e.g., NAIC, S&P Global, state DOIs)
  • Support the analysis of demographic, economic, and insurance-related datasets
  • Create summary briefs and visual materials to support internal presentations
  • Collaborate with senior analysts and cross-functional teams (underwriting, product, distribution, and business development)
  • Conduct secondary research on competitors, market developments, and industry trends
  • Maintain internal dashboards and reports tracking market trends and competitor activity

What we are looking for as a Market Research Analyst:

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Economics, Risk Management, or related field
  • Familiarity with public datasets such as U.S. Census, NAIC, or AM Best
  • Experience working in a strategy, product, or actuarial support function is a plus
  • Exposure to or interest in the property & casualty insurance industry
  • 13 years of experience in market research, business analysis, or insurance-related roles
  • Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong written communication skills and ability to summarize research findings
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
