Nationwide Therapy Group is seeking a travel nurse RN PACU - Post Anesthesia Care for a travel nursing job in Midland, Texas.

Job Description & Requirements

• Specialty: PACU - Post Anesthesia Care
• Discipline: RN
• Start Date: 09/08/2025
• Duration: 13 weeks
• 40 hours per week
• Shift: 8 hours, days
• Employment Type: Travel

Requirements

• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS – Required
• 2+ years PACU experience preferred
• Experience with pediatric + critical care patients
• Must be able to cover Pre-Op as needed
• Level II trauma experience strongly preferred
• Must have recovery experience with:
  • Plastics, Urology, Dental, GYN
  • Patients with nerve blocks, chest tubes, central lines, A-lines, intubation

Charting: Cerner (preferred)
License: Pending OK at submittal | Must be active by start
Local candidates: Not accepted (50-mile radius rule)

Unit Info

• Surgeries: All except hearts
• Ages: 8 months to geriatric
• Beds: 21 (PACU + Pre-Op Holding)
• Nurses float only between Pre-Op and PACU
