About the Role
A well-established healthcare organization in Chicago is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Medical Biller to join their team on a contract basis. As a third-party recruiting partner, we are looking for candidates who are passionate about healthcare administration and have a strong understanding of medical billing processes.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and submit accurate medical claims to insurance companies
- Review patient accounts and resolve billing discrepancies
- Follow up on unpaid or denied claims and initiate appeals as needed
- Verify insurance coverage and patient eligibility
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory standards
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in medical billing or revenue cycle management
- Proficiency in CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding
- Experience with billing software and EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner)
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required; certification in medical billing is a plus
