Position: Kitchen Line Cook
We seek a dedicated and skilled Kitchen Line Cook to join our growing and dynamic team at Thunderbird Café. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen by preparing high-quality dishes according to our recipes.
Responsibilities:
- Execute food orders promptly and accurately, following recipes and presentation specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation, ensuring adherence to food safety standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure efficient service during busy hours.
- Monitor food stock levels and assist in inventory management.
- Contribute to menu planning and suggest improvements for better efficiency.
Requirements:
- Experience as a Line Cook or similar role in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
- Proficiency in preparing and cooking dishes.
- Understanding of kitchen protocols, including hygiene and safety practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality and efficiency.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Positive attitude.
