Position Summary
The Machine Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring productionmachinery used in the manufacturing of ammunition cases. This is an entry-level positionideal for candidates who are mechanically inclined, safety-conscious, and eager to growwithin the manufacturing industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor automated and semi-automated production machines used inammunition case manufacturing
- Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet quality and dimensionalspecifications
- Load raw materials and unload finished cases from machinery
- Perform routine machine adjustments and minor maintenance tasks
- Follow all safety protocols, including proper handling of materials in an ammunitionmanufacturing environment
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with company andregulatory standards
- Complete production logs, inspection records, and other documentation accurately
- Report any machine malfunctions, safety concerns, or quality issues to a supervisorpromptly
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production goals
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED equivalent
No prior manufacturing experience required — on-the-job training provided
Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to read simple measurements/gauges
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs
Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
Must be 21 years of age or older (required for ammunition manufacturingenvironment)
Must be able to pass a background check
U.S. citizenship or eligibility to work in the U.S. required
Compensation & Benefits
Pay Rate:
- $17.00 – $22.00 per hour, based on experience
- Overtime opportunities available
- On-the-job training and career advancement potential
- Stable, full-time schedule

Full-time | Monday – Friday
