Associate or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT), and 1+ year of Cath Lab experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Join a dynamic Cath Lab team in a well-equipped, 370-bed hospital located in Saint Johns, FL. This contract opportunity offers hands-on experience with advanced cardiovascular imaging technology and a collaborative environment supporting complex procedures. The role includes working every other weekend and holidays on a rotating schedule, providing a consistent yet balanced workload.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Scrubbing for Left and Right Heart Catheterizations (LHC/RHC), Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI), STEMI activations, and peripheral procedures.
- Monitoring patients during diagnostic and interventional procedures, including stroke and carotid stenting.
- Supporting prep and recovery areas as needed.
- Participating in a 4-10 hour shift schedule with on-call duties approximately 15-18 days per month.
- Documenting patient care activities using the Meditech EMR system.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience acceptable in cath lab settings.
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications required.
- Certification as RCIS, RCES, or RT(R) mandatory.
- Proficiency with advanced equipment including GE Innova, OCT, Boston IVUS, Impella, IABP, RotoPro, CSI, and Penumbra.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a dedicated team of 5-10 physicians and a charge nurse coordinating daily operations.
