Clinic Nurse / Registered Nurse / Bilingual Spanish
\nBronx, NY | Onsite | Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM
\nSalary: $108,000–$112,000 + Strong Benefits
\nA large, mission-driven healthcare program specializing in comprehensive care for the elderly population is seeking an experienced Clinic Nurse (RN) to join its Bronx-based clinic team. This is a staff, onsite role offering a stable schedule, collaborative environment, and competitive compensation.
\nThe Clinic Nurse plays a key role in supporting participants’ medical, functional, and psychosocial needs while ensuring smooth day-to-day clinic operations.

\n\n\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n

    \n\t
  • Assess participants’ physical, functional, and psychosocial needs using professional nursing judgment, observation, and interview skills\n\t
  • Document and communicate changes in participant condition to appropriate members of the interdisciplinary care team\n\t
  • Regularly update the interdisciplinary team on participants’ medical, functional, and psychosocial status\n\t
  • Support the daily operations of the clinic, ensuring efficient workflow and timely completion of clinical procedures\n\t
  • Administer vaccinations and tests, including:\n\t
      \n\t\t
    • Influenza, COVID-19, pneumonia, hepatitis, and PPD for participants\n\t\t
    • TB tests or QuantiFERON blood tests for employees, as indicated\n\t

  • Perform blood draws as needed\n\t
  • Coordinate with transportation vendors to ensure participants arrive to scheduled appointments\n\t
  • Collaborate with scheduling staff to ensure participants are seen in clinic as required\n\t
  • Maintain accurate daily and weekly clinic logs and track required health screenings (PHS)\n\t
  • Monitor clinic supplies and ensure timely reordering of expiring items\n\t
  • Notify Nurse Manager or Program Director of equipment issues or operational concerns\n\t
  • Demonstrate strong time management and prioritization, working independently with minimal supervision\n\t
  • Interact professionally and compassionately with participants and families\n\t
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and in-service education\n

\n\n\n\nQualifications\n\n

    \n\t
  • Current New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license\n\t
  • Bilingual in Spanish (required)\n\t
  • Experience with blood draws\n\t
  • Strong clinical assessment, communication, and organizational skills\n\t
  • Experience working with elderly or medically complex populations preferred\n
