Reports To: Design Manager
Job Purpose: To support the success of MBA Designers by managing the logistics, procurement, and scheduling of products to ensure custom cabinetry projects are completed on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Support designers in developing cabinet layouts, revisions, and product selection
- Review cabinet plans for constructability, measurements, and site-specific constraints
- Prepare cabinet quotes on designs.
- Prepare and submit cabinet orders once designs are completed
- Coordinate cabinetry details with Project Managers and field employees to align with existing conditions
- Coordinate with vendors on damages, shortages, warranty issues and replacements
- Assist with maintenance of Cabinet samples.
- Participate in tradeshows, seminars, & other events as requested
Minimum Requirements:
- 2 years experience in residential remodeling, cabinetry coordination, interior design support, or construction administration
- College degree in Interior Design or Architectural Drafting preferred
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and CAD Programs (Chief Architect program is a plus)
- Excellent organization, communication, and attention to detail.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to manage several projects at a time
- Capability to perform duties in an efficient, professional, and courteous manner
- Have & maintain clean, reliable transportation to use for client appointments
- Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed
- Physically able to walk, kneel, bend, work with your hands, sit and stand for long periods of time, and move up to 70 lbs. independently
- Able to work on a computer for extended periods of time
