This part-time role for a Registered Nurse in our Regional Float Pool involves delivering nursing care across various hospitals in the St. Louis area during night shifts. The position entails assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care in diverse units, including ICU, ED, Med/Surg, and more, catering to a wide range of patients. The Registered Nurse will apply theoretical knowledge to make informed decisions in practice, assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating tailored nursing care in line with established nursing standards for adult and geriatric patients. The selected candidate will be required to report to facilities within the regional area of their home hospital. Specific facilities will be determined upon hiring, with approval from the hiring leader or leadership team.

• Department: Regional Float Pool
• Status: Part-Time (24 hours per week)
• Shift: Nights

Incentives:

• Sign-On Bonus: $10,000 - No Contract Required
• Base Pay: Based on Experience
  • Plus: Regional Float Pool Perks and Shift Differentials: $2.75 for Evenings, $4.60 for Nights, $1.50 for Weekends

Qualifications:

• Required Education:
  • Graduate from an accredited registered nursing program.
    • Preferred Education: BSN
• Licensure:
  • Must obtain and maintain a current RN license in the hiring state or compact licensure where nursing duties are performed, meeting all state board of nursing requirements.
• Required Experience:
  • At least one year of recent bedside RN experience for Med/Surg.
  • For other specialties (ED, ICU, etc.), a minimum of two years of recent bedside RN experience is required.
    • Preferred Experience: Familiarity with Epic
• Certifications (Must Have to Start):
  • For Med/Surg and Behavioral Health - BLS
  • For Women's Health - BLS & NRP
  • For Critical Care - BLS, ACLS
  • For Emergency Department - BLS, ACLS, & PALS
• Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to stand or walk for most of the shift; significant bending, stooping, and lifting of patients with assistance; ability to push/pull/grip up to 50 pounds.
