In Pomona, CA, your shift starts with a blueprint and ends with a flawless component. As a CNC/Manual Machining Specialist, you’ll move seamlessly between modern CNC controls and dependable manual machines, transforming technical drawings into precise parts that keep production humming.
What You’ll Do
From first setup to final inspection, you’ll own the machining process:
- Set up and operate a variety of CNC and manual equipment to produce components to spec.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine machining requirements and sequences.
- Monitor feeds, speeds, and tooling conditions, making adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime and keep machines running smoothly.
- Collaborate closely with teammates to hit production goals and meet deadlines.
- Keep your work area safe, clean, and organized, following all safety protocols.
- Document production activities and maintain accurate records of the work you complete.
What You’ll Bring
- High school diploma or equivalent; a machining technical certification is a plus.
- At least 2 years of machinist experience, ideally in a manufacturing environment.
- Hands-on proficiency with both CNC and manual machines.
- Solid understanding of machining processes, tooling, and material properties.
- Ability to interpret technical documents and blueprints with accuracy.
- Sharp problem-solving skills and an eye for detail.
- Clear communication and a team-first mindset.
