The Commercial Financial Analyst will be responsible for providing critical financial analysis and support across Kilcoy Global Foods NA. This role will work closely with sales, marketing, manufacturing, and finance teams to drive profitable growth through data-driven recommendations and strategies. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of revenue analytics, financial modeling, and market trends to optimize commercial decisions for our diverse product portfolio.


Role and Responsibilities

  • Financial Analysis & Modeling: Perform detailed financial analysis, including margin analysis, cost-to-serve, pricing elasticity, and break-even analysis to support commercial decisions.
  • Pricing Strategy Development: Develop and implement pricing strategies to optimize profitability and competitiveness across various channels (Retail, Food Service, and KPC).
  • Market & Competitive Analysis: Monitor market trends, competitor pricing, and industry benchmarks to identify pricing opportunities and risks.
  • Data Management & Reporting: Support master data including customer and product hierarchies in addition to pricing databases to develop dashboards to provide real-time insights on pricing performance and profitability.
  • Actual Results, Budgeting & Forecasting: Support the monthly close, monthly forecasting and annual budgeting processes with assumptions, insights and variance analysis.
  • Collaboration: Partner with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain teams to gather input and provide recommendations on pricing changes or adjustments.
  • Pricing Performance Analysis: Track the effectiveness of pricing strategies and conduct post-implementation reviews to ensure profitability goals are met.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Support the annual budgeting and forecasting processes by providing pricing assumptions and insights.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve pricing processes, tools, and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.


Supervisory Responsibilities

  • This position has no supervisory responsibilities.


Requirements:

Preferred Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required. MBA or advanced degree is a plus
  • 3-5 years of experience in financial analysis, pricing or related roles, preferably in the food manufacturing industry. Prior CPG industry experience preferred
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Power BI
  • Experience with pricing models, margin analysis, financial forecasting and standard cost builds
  • Detail oriented with a focus on delivering timely and accurate results
  • Process oriented with a focus on challenging the status quo and being the agent of change
