Job Description
Opportunity:
Advanced Practice (CRNA) - (CRNA) - Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
Job Details:
- Medically directed practice with collegial anesthesiologists
- Handle 1-2 longer cases or 3-4 shorter cases per 8-hour day on average
- Work within busy surgical schedule that includes all procedures except transplants and pediatric hearts
- Provide one-to-one patient care in operating rooms, Cath lab, GI, EP, MRI, and CT as needed
- Care for all patient age groups at a Level 1 trauma center
- Work 7 days a week with 8, 10, 12 hour shifts (Monday-Friday) and 12 or 16 hour shifts (Saturday & Sunday) with 30-minute unpaid lunch
- Rotate between multiple locations including main medical center, surgery centers, and outpatient facilities
- Must be graduate (Master's or Doctorate) of accredited school of anesthesia
- Current or ability to obtain licensure as Registered Nurse Anesthetist in Minnesota required
- Current certification in CPR, BCLS/ACLS required
- Must be certified by National Board of Certification and Recertification of Nurse Anesthetists
- Experience required in general anesthesia (adult, pediatric, neonatal, trauma), spinal anesthesia, regional anesthesia, obstetrical cases, neurosurgical cases, open heart anesthesia, thoracic cases, complex vascular and orthopedic cases
