Utilizing the nursing process, you will deliver patient care under the guidance of licensed professionals authorized by a State regulatory board to prescribe medications and treatments, or under the supervision of a Registered Professional Nurse (RN). You will maintain professional accountability for the care provided to your assigned patients, coordinating with various departments to ensure comprehensive patient care while upholding patient rights and confidentiality.

The Medical A floor at our facility is a dynamic 30-bed unit catering to patients of all ages. Many individuals in our care are dealing with chronic illnesses that necessitate multidisciplinary treatment plans and objectives. As a vital member of the healthcare team, you will educate patients on a range of topics, from procedural and surgical expectations to post-discharge medication regimens. This unit is ideal for compassionate, team-oriented, and hardworking individuals who enjoy caring for diverse populations, providing a rewarding experience while enhancing clinical knowledge and skills.
Qualifications:
- Required Education: Practical Nursing Degree from an accredited institution
- License: Current LPN license in our state or the ability to obtain one within 90 days
- Certifications: Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association, IV Certification within one year
