We are seeking an Accountant, CPA, or CPA Candidate to join our team. You will be responsible for preparing Business and Personal income tax returns for our clients.
Qualifications:
Experience with preparing Corporate, Partnership, Trust, and Individual Income tax returns.
Must be able to work independently and within a group.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Detail and deadline oriented.
An Accountant prepares and reviews various tax forms, ensures compliance with tax laws, provides tax research and planning, and maintains accurate financial records for clients or the company. Key duties include completing individual and business tax returns, utilizing accounting software, collaborating with team members, and staying current with tax regulations to minimize liabilities and identify savings opportunities. A strong background in accounting principles, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills are essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities

Tax Preparation & Filing:

Preparation of Compilation and Reviewed Financial Statements

Prepare and file individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns accurately and on time.

Tax Research & Planning:

Conduct tax research using relevant authorities, regulations, and resources to provide guidance on tax planning and strategies.

Compliance:

Ensure all tax-related activities and financial reports comply with federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.

Financial Record Keeping:

Maintain general ledger accounts, prepare financial statements, and manage financial databases and records.

Client Interaction:

Communicate with clients to gather financial information, address inquiries, and provide technical assistance on tax matters.

Analysis & Reporting:

Perform variance analysis, prepare reports as requested by management, and identify ways to reduce costs and enhance revenue.
Required Skills & Qualifications

Education:

A bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field is typically required.

A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation or CPA candidate status is often preferred.
