You’ll help families and business owners protect what matters and plan for the future using insurance and investment solutions (investments available to properly licensed Registered Representatives through NYLIFE Securities LLC). As you produce and grow, you can pursue advanced specializations or a path to leadership (Associate Partner / APM) once production and licensing requirements are met.
What success looks like (first 90 days)
- 30 days: complete onboarding/licensing plan; begin guided prospecting; book first appointments
- 60 days: consistent weekly activity (names entered, fact‑finders completed, appointments set)
- 90 days: first applications submitted; growing pipeline; coaching cadence with your manager
Training includes NYLIC University, blended learning, field coaching, and (for eligible candidates) tuition reimbursement for select American College designations (FSCP, ChFC, RICP, WMCP).
Compensation:
$60,000 - $250,000 yearly
Responsibilities:
- Acquire and serve clients; conduct fact‑finding, present solutions, and manage long‑term relationships
- Build a referral‑driven practice in your natural and target markets (business owners, professionals, families)
- Leverage NYL training, mentorship, and digital tools to prospect and run appointments
- Maintain required licensing, compliance, and activity standards
Qualifications:
- Competitive, enterprising drive; coachability and professionalism
- Client‑facing or sales experience preferred; leadership/mentoring experience a plus
- Access to professional/affluent networks (centers of influence) is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.; ability to obtain state Life & Health license (sponsorship/training support provided) and, if pursuing investments, pass SIE/Series 6/7 & 63/65/66 per role track
