Position Summary
We are seeking a strategic and driven Senior Sales Leader to lead Scout’s growth through high-impact OEM partnerships and licensing channels. This leader will be responsible for identifying, developing, and managing relationships with OEMs in transportation, automotive, infrastructure, and related industries, with a focus on embedding Scout’s capabilities into existing and emerging platforms globally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and engage OEM partners to create scalable licensing opportunities for Scout’s core technologies.
- Lead contract structuring and negotiations for multi-year, high-value licensing agreements.
- Develop a go-to-market strategy for OEM channel expansion, working closely with product and engineering teams.
- Build C-suite relationships within target organizations to establish strategic alignment and long-term value.
- Drive revenue growth through data monetization, technology licensing, and embedded solutions partnerships.
- Represent Scout by Rekor at industry forums and partner engagements to enhance brand visibility.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure smooth integration of Scout into OEM platforms.
- Define and execute Targeted Partner Development plans and growth strategies within your assigned territory
- Leverage partnerships to develop and execute partner account penetration plans; develop and execute appropriate sales strategies in conjunction with identified partners to match penetration plan
- Work with the proposal team to prepare proposals and responses to RFIs and RFPs and manage the partner’s involvement and responsibilities in those scenarios.
- Generate new opportunities via select partners and achieve revenue targets within your assigned territory and uncover new opportunities within the territory through partner-led sales activities
- Maintain strong partner relationships with all buying influencers and decision makers
- Work closely with product management, the senior leadership team and partners to provide insight on customer/market needs and drivers.
- Provide relevant and critical information/documentation in timely manner. Must document all sales activities in our CRM
- Provide an accurate partner forecast on a weekly basis
- Geo preferred: East or Central US, close to major metropolitan city.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- 10+ years of sales leadership experience in OEM or platform licensing environments, working in a technical product/solution sales community involving consultative selling & solution discussions
- Deep understanding of AI/data platforms, automotive systems, digital infrastructure, or ITS.
- Proven track record of building high-value partnerships and complex licensing deals.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to drive execution in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in a technical sales environment with a demonstrated consultative approach to selling
- Hunter Mentality: an exceptionally strong desire to bring new partners to Rekor, maximize revenue, and grow our customer base vis select partner relationships
- Excellent presentation skills and a persuasive communications style.
- Strong interpersonal skills in building and maintaining collaborative relationships with cross functional & cross-cultural teams.
- Flexibility to travel , estimate about 60% national travel required
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Skilled at creating and executing prospecting strategies for discovering new partner accounts.
- Skilled in contract negotiation and the ability to effectively team and/or manage sales activates from initial contact through closing of the business.
- Presenting and discussing solutions with C-level Executives and other decision-makers
