Job DescriptionProject Engineer – Maintenance
Location: Branchburg, NJ
Pay Rate: $30 - $34 per hour DOE
Position Overview:
Leading flavor/fragrance manufacturing company is seeking a Project Engineer in Maintenance to support the operations team with planning, managing, and executing maintenance activities. This role focuses on managing work orders and coordinating maintenance projects through Work Order Management System and SAP platform. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and experienced in maintenance engineering or industrial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and track maintenance work orders using SAP and other internal systems.
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate maintenance projects to ensure efficient completion and minimal downtime.
- Support reliability and continuous improvement initiatives within maintenance operations.
- Collaborate with maintenance technicians, supervisors, and other departments to prioritize and complete work orders.
- Generate and analyze reports to monitor maintenance performance metrics.
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety and company standards.
- Assist with capital projects and equipment upgrades as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field preferred) or equivalent experience.
- Hands-on experience with SAP is a plus
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced industrial environment.
