Dental Hygienist Responsibilities
- Welcome and greet patients in a professional and friendly manner
- Conduct initial oral health screenings
- Identify periodontal conditions such as gingivitis and periodontal disease
- Perform appropriate dental hygiene procedures for each patient
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventative care
- Sterilize dental instruments and maintain operatory cleanliness
- Follow infection control and safety standards
- Maintain accurate patient charts and documentation

Requirements
- Diploma from an accredited Dental Hygiene program
- Valid Utah Dental Hygiene license
- Current CPR certification
- Basic knowledge of dental practice management software
