Traveling Special Education Teacher Self-Contained Classrooms
Location: Various schools across Alabama
Contract Type: Full-Time, 20252026 School Year

Position Overview:
ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated Traveling Special Education Teacher to support self-contained classrooms across multiple schools in Alabama. This role focuses on providing high-quality instruction to students with moderate to severe disabilities while ensuring individualized support and compliance with IEPs.
Responsibilities:
- Provide instruction and support to students with moderate to severe disabilities in self-contained classroom settings.
- Implement and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in accordance with state and federal guidelines.
- Adapt and modify instructional materials to meet the unique needs of each student.
- Collaborate with related service providers, general education staff, and administrators to support student success.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports for all students.
- Travel between assigned school locations as needed.
Qualifications:
- Required: Active Alabama Special Education Teaching License.
- Experience teaching students with moderate to severe disabilities in self-contained classrooms.
- Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage multiple classroom environments and adapt instruction as needed.
