Job Description
Job Description
Supply Chain Systems Engineer
Full-time, On-Site – McLean, VA
Salary Range: $120,000 – $140,000
Must be a U.S. Citizen
CakeBoxx Technologies is growing fast, and we’re building a premier team as we continue to expand our position as a leader in innovative supply chain solutions for the defense, aerospace, energy, and high-tech sectors. We design and build advanced containers, platforms, and engineered transport systems that protect the world’s most sensitive, high-value, mission-critical cargo. We need a Supply Chain Systems Engineer who understands both the engineering and the real-world supply chain needed to bring these products from concept to customer.
CakeBoxx Technologies is seeking a Supply Chain Systems Engineer with direct, hands-on experience working with vendors, manufacturers, and logistics partners. This role sits at the intersection of engineering, manufacturing, and logistics and is critical to how our products are designed, built, moved, and delivered.
This is not a coordination-only role. You must understand how a product actually moves from concept through fabrication and delivery and be comfortable working directly with suppliers, fabricators, and carriers to keep projects moving and resolve issues in real time.
Position Summary
This role requires hands-on experience across the full product lifecycle, including planning, material sourcing, supplier management, fabrication, manufacturing execution, logistics, delivery, and post-delivery support. You will work closely with internal engineering and program teams and directly with external vendors and manufacturers to ensure products are built correctly and delivered safely and on schedule.
