Job DescriptionPosition Summary:We are looking for a Mental Health Therapist who will provide outpatient psychiatric therapy to individuals and couples therapy to patients of The Evolve Center. Clinical therapy services include the treatment of adult adolescents, children, and couples.The Evolve Center is a behavioral health agency specializing in helping individuals and couples navigate the challenges of trauma, emotional distress, and self-doubt. The PMHT will provide psychiatric services to adult and youth clients from diverse backgrounds, including those struggling with anger, substance abuse, and chronic depression. Services will be via telehealth to serve clients in remote locations.Job Requirements and Qualifications:Minimum Required Education:· Master’s or equivalent degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or related fieldMinimum Required Experience:· At least 1-2 years providing direct client care to persons receiving treatment for psychiatric disorders· Ability to work with both adult and youth populationsPreferred Experience:· 3+ years of experience as a psychiatric provider· Experience in telemedicineLicenses/Certifications:· LMSW/LCSW/LMFT/LISW/LPCC· An unrestricted license to practice as a therapist.· No Suspension/exclusion /debarment from participation in federal health care programs (e.g. Medicare, Medicaid, CHIP).· Maintain credentials and licensure with all major insurance companies and licensing boards with the assistance of The Evolve Center credentialing staff.Other Skills Required:· Experience in delivering high-quality, client-centered care to individuals and couples.· Having a working knowledge of basic to intermediate electronic health records (EHR) systems is preferred.· Ability to work as a member of an interdisciplinary team, as well as members of the community.· Strong social, communication and written skills. Must have the ability to develop rapport and be perceived by clients and staff as approachable. Ability to multi-task; while maintaining accuracy and organization.· Highly proficient use of Outlook (email, calendar, contacts, tasks).· Highly proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).· Experience with CRM software.· Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.· Ability to work effectively on multidisciplinary team.· Ability to analyze and interpret general and professional documents. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one on one and small group situations.· Must possess the ability to make independent and informed decisions when circumstances warrant such action.· Ability to foster teamwork; train and direct the work of team members and colleagues.· Excellent organizational skills, including the ability to work productively and make independent decisions.Work Environment:· Continuously meet minimum required hours of direct services to clients each week, allowing remainder of work hours for documentation, meetings, trainings, and supervision.· The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those employees’ encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.· Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.· While performing the duties of this job, the noise level in the work environment is a moderate noise level.Job Type: · Full-time equates to 40 working hours per week.· Flexibility in setting work schedule, with work hours falling between 9:00 AM and 9:00 PM including weekends.· Accessible to Evolve Center of Counseling team of 24/7 crisis clinician for clinical consultation.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:· Responsible for providing psychiatric services to clients in a variety of clinical settings during scheduled hours. The scope of services includes outpatient psychiatric evaluations and treatment plans with all clients and documents in EHR.· Completes required training within prescribed timeframes.· Must possess and obtain a thorough knowledge of adult and youth psychopathology.· Assess, diagnose, and treat adults, adolescents, and children experiencing symptoms of behavioral health disorders.· Knowledge of available community agencies and resources that support individuals with clients, while maintaining appropriate boundaries.· Collaborate with counselors, social workers, or other treatment team members to coordinate client care.· Responsible for timely and accurate completion of medical records, including assessment, treatment plan, progress notes, outcome measures, and billing entries.· Counsel clients during appointments, as necessary.· Design / participate in the development of individualized treatment plans, incorporating best practices into treatment interventions.· Collaborate with guardians, relatives, and significant others on client’s conditions and treatment when clinically appropriate.· Responsible for management and risk reduction in areas of responsibility and to report it if it is outside of areas of responsibility or seek assistance when needed to resolve the matter. Assures health and safety risks are controlled or removed, and a safe and therapeutic environment exists.· Prepare and submit assessments, progress notes, end of week and month reports, and summaries to entities/agencies (funders, insurance companies, etc.) as required.· Manage, monitor, and inform leadership as it relates to productivity and making sure to maintain 91% productivity for each service we provide.· Consistently achieves or exceeds monthly and annual impact targets for percentage of time spent directly supporting clients.· Builds, maintains, and manages a client case load consistent with agency requirements. Effectively manage caseload, as evidenced by ability to accept additional clients, close inactive files, in a timely manner, take adequate steps to avoid “client abandonment” and making attempts to re-engage clients.· Return emails and calls promptly (within 24 hours of receipt or sooner if clinically necessary)· Working knowledge of crisis intervention principles, tools, and techniques.· Ability to assess crisis situations for safety and security and respond to client emergencies and be accessible to The Evolve Center 24/7 crisis clinicians.· Responsible for making independent decisions based on protocols developed utilizing national guidelines for treatment interventions.· Participates in promoting The Evolve Center’s mission within the community and creating awareness of the services The Evolve Center provides.· Responsible for maintaining customer relations with all agency staff and clients.· Maintain medical records and submit at least 10% of records for biweekly review in accordance with the Collaborative Practice Agreement for utilization review.· Records all services performed for accurate billing for services provided in compliance with all local, state and federal laws, as well as payor rules and regulations. Submits billing documents in a timely fashion.· Looks for ways to improve and promote quality. Provides teaching and education to clinical staff, if requested.· Follow all procedures and protocols as per The Evolve Center policy, federal and state regulations, standard practice, and in accordance with the Collaborative Practice Agreement.· Actively participate in all agency and department education, training, and in-services to confirm understanding of new information or changes to established clinical policies and procedures.Job Type: Full-time
