Client Relations Specialist (Part-Time – 30 Hours/Week)

Position Overview
The Client Relations Specialist plays a key role in delivering a high-touch, client-centered experience aligned with Nelis Wealth’s commitment to transparency, trust, and proactive financial planning. This position serves as a primary point of contact for clients, ensuring seamless communication, exceptional service, and strong relationship management throughout the client journey.

Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for client inquiries via phone, email, and in-person interactions
- Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships through consistent communication and follow-up
- Coordinate and schedule client meetings, reviews, and check-ins
- Assist advisors with client onboarding, including data collection and account setup
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records within CRM systems
- Prepare client meeting materials, reports, and documentation
- Ensure timely follow-through on client requests and service needs
- Support the implementation and ongoing servicing of financial plans
- Collaborate with internal team members and external partners (e.g., CPAs, attorneys) as needed
- Uphold confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive financial information
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in client service, customer relations, or administrative support (financial services preferred)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
- Professional demeanor with a client-first mindset
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in financial planning, wealth management, or the insurance industry
- Familiarity with financial terminology and processes
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related field (preferred but not required)
