We’re seeking a full-time, school-based Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to work with our district partners for the current school year! This is a rewarding opportunity to support students in building confidence and essential skills for success in the classroom and beyond. Responsibilities:

  • Assist supervising Occupational Therapists in delivering therapy interventions outlined in student IEPs

  • Provide direct support to students to improve fine motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living activities

  • Adapt classroom activities and learning materials to meet individual student needs

  • Monitor and document student progress, providing feedback to the Occupational Therapist for planning

  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to integrate therapy goals into classroom routines

  • Participate in IEP meetings and team discussions as required

  • Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with school and district guidelines

Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program

  • Successful completion of the NBCOT exam and current COTA certification

  • Active state licensure or certification (or ability to obtain prior to start)

  • Knowledge of school-based therapy practices and IEP processes

  • Experience working with children in educational settings preferred

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
