Company Overview

Contentnea Health is a Community Health Center providing comprehensive medical, dental and behavioral health services for members of our communities in Greene, Pitt and Pamlico counties in eastern North Carolina.

Job Summary

Provides administrative support to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and other senior leaders.

Responsibilities and Duties

  1. Provides administrative support and assistance to the CEO and/or other leaders.
    1. Receives incoming communication, reviews content, determines importance and summarizes, and/or distributes contents to appropriate staff.
    2. Performs clerical and administrative tasks including drafting letters, memos, invoices, reports and other documents for senior staff, and daily pick-up, sorting, and appropriate routing of incoming mail.
    3. Sorts statement mailings and delivers to post office.
    4. Replenishes office material such as snacks, printer supplies, paper, office supplies, etc.
    5. Serves as coordinator for all resources, products, equipment, and other shared office services.
    6. Organizes meetings and books meeting rooms. Ensures all equipment is ready for meetings.

  1. Participates in projects assigned by senior leaders.
    1. Prioritizes and manages multiple projects simultaneously and follows through on issues.
    2. Determines necessary steps to complete project or deliver expected outcome.
    3. Researches and gathers data from external and internal sources and serves as point of contact for project.
    4. Compiles and presents information to be used for decision-making.

  1. Serves as the point of contact among board of directors, executives, leaders, employees, clients, and other external partners.
    1. Sends communication and organizes meetings on behalf of the CEO.
    2. Notifies board members about board meeting details and/or changes.
    3. Compiles and distributes board packets.
    4. Attends meetings, composes minutes and distributes minutes to the appropriate members.

Qualifications and Skills

Possess knowledge and training in the field of office administration, typically acquired through a formal Associate's Degree in Business. Proficiency with Microsoft Office platform.
