Job Opportunity – Cardiovascular PreOp Registered Nurse – North Carolina

Start Date: June 8, 2026

Location: Asheville, North Carolina

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM, with occasional late shifts (1-2 per week)

• Work with advanced technology including GE Carescape Monitoring and Fuji ultrasound systems in a state-of-the-art cardiac tower
• Collaborate with the busiest robotic surgery program in the Carolinas and the region's only open heart and interventional cardiology center
• Utilize Cerner documentation system with support from Clinical Nurse Coordinator, manager, and interdisciplinary team
• Floating only within scope of practice and experience

Requirements:

• Current RN license in North Carolina
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Critical care experience required; preoperative experience preferred
• Strong critical thinking skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
• Proficiency in BCMA, IV therapy (including large-bore IV starts), and excellent documentation skills
• Experience with arterial lines, central lines, epidural placement assistance, patient transport to OR, and support with induction, intubation, positioning, and skin prep
• Excellent interdepartmental communication and teamwork abilities
