We're seeking an experienced Courier Dispatcher to join a leading Life Sciences & On-Demand Logistics company. This role involves coordinating time-sensitive, high-value, and temperature-controlled shipments with precision, speed, and exceptional customer service.
Location: Onsite in Hayward, CA
Pay: $21 - $27/hr (based on experience)
3 Shifts available: 3:00 AM - 12:00 PM / 5:00 AM - 2:00 PM / 3:00 PM - 12:00 AM
What You'll Do:
- Plan efficient delivery routes and assign drivers for urgent, same-day shipments.
- Serve as the main point of contact for drivers, customers, and airport partners.
- Prepare and verify air cargo documentation (AWBs, invoices, labels).
- Ensure compliance with TSA, GDP, and IATA regulations.
- Handle specialized cargo such as dry ice, biological samples, and temperature-sensitive packaging.
- Track and monitor shipments in real time, providing client updates.
What We're Looking For:
- Required: Dispatch experience in life sciences, healthcare logistics, or time-critical shipments.
- Strong knowledge of airport operations, air cargo documentation, and compliance regulations.
- Proficiency in dispatch software, GPS tracking, and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.
- Experience handling dry ice, Tive trackers, and Biotherm packaging preferred.
