An opportunity is available for an experienced ICU registered nurse to provide exceptional care within a demanding critical care environment. This position offers the chance to utilize specialized skills and deepen expertise in managing complex cases, including cardiothoracic and neurological patients.

Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct patient care in a high-acuity Intensive Care Unit setting
- Monitor and manage critically ill patients, including those requiring neuro and cardiothoracic interventions
- Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Participate in unit float requirements to Stepdown or Progressive Care Unit as needed
- Comply with hospital policies including nicotine-free environment and safety protocols
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid RN licensure with at least 2 years of ICU experience
- BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required
- Preferably experienced in a Level 1 or 2 Trauma Center environment
- Proficient in care of cardiothoracic surgery (CTS) and neuro patients
- TNCC certification is a plus
- Willingness to work 12-hour night shifts and fulfill weekend, holiday, and on-call responsibilities
Schedule:
- 12-hour night shifts, 1900-0700
- Every 3rd weekend, holidays including one major and one minor observed
- Orientation includes multi-day sessions to ensure readiness
Contract Details:
