Description

One Care DC, Inc., a behavioral health agency based in Washington, DC, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Clinical Manager. This role provides clinical supervision and training to Community Support Workers (CSWs) and other non-licensed staff. The ideal candidate will possess a positive, supportive attitude toward the agency's mission and demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities, effective decision-making, and logical thinking skills.


Essential Functions & Responsibilities

  • Supervise all aspects of a clinical team; following the approved agency mission demonstrated by setting departmental goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with the executive team to solve problems and present viable solutions.
  • Supervise Community Support Workers and other non-licensed staff.
  • Understand and follow all One Care DC, DBH, The Joint Commission policies and procedures, and participate in the agencys quality improvement activities including consumer satisfaction reports and clinical outcomes.
  • Manages timely submission and quality of Community Support Worker reports, and documentation and billing.
  • Gather performance data for each CSW in your caseload through quality reviews and share this information in staff meetings and with Executive leadership
  • Regularly provide clinical training to team members.
  • Provide and perform emergency services during business and after hours as warranted
  • Monitors documentation compliance to include timeliness and correctness of assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes.
  • Conduct diagnostic assessments and create treatment plans for consumers.
  • Provide individual, couples, family, and group counseling for a small, assigned caseload.
  • Perform emergency evaluations for consumers in crisis and facilitate referrals to more intensive addiction treatment or psychiatric services if necessary.
  • Utilize the Credible system for documenting all clinical work with consumers.
  • Foster a positive, cooperative, and communicative environment across all levels within One Care DC.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications Required

  • Master's Degree in Social Work or a related field.
  • If applying as a Psychologist, must hold a PhD.
  • Must be Licensed in DC as a LPC, LICSW, Psychologist
  • 3-5 years of experience providing outpatient mental health services to adults with serious mental health needs.
  • 2-5 years of supervisory and training experience.
