Position: Stock Clerk / Inventory Specialist
Location: Torrance, CA
Shift: Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM
Employment Type: Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire
Overview:
A leading manufacturer of adaptive pediatric seating and transportation assistive devices is seeking a Stock Clerk / Inventory Specialist to support daily production operations. This role is not retail-based—it is a hands-on position within a manufacturing environment focused on managing raw materials, production parts, and finished goods used in life-enhancing mobility products.
Key Responsibilities:
• Receive, label, and store raw materials and components used in production
• Track inventory levels and ensure parts are replenished in coordination with the production team
• Pull and stage materials for production orders
• Perform cycle counts, audits, and reconciliations to maintain inventory accuracy
• Update inventory data in internal systems (manual or software-based)
• Work closely with purchasing, assembly, and shipping departments
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-compliant stockroom or warehouse area
• Assist with incoming and outgoing shipments as needed
Qualifications:
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or production-based stockroom or warehouse
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to read work orders, part numbers, and interpret basic inventory data
• Comfortable using scanners, inventory systems, and Microsoft Excel (or similar)
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and operate in a physically active role
• Punctual, dependable, and team-oriented
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
