Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An opportunity is available for a Special Education Teacher to support diverse learners within a school environment in Saint Paul, MN. This contract role focuses on providing individualized instruction and fostering an inclusive classroom atmosphere for students with special needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement tailored Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) aligned with student goals
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to adapt curriculum and instructional strategies
  • Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as necessary
  • Provide a supportive and engaging learning environment that addresses each students unique needs
  • Communicate regularly with parents, guardians, and staff regarding student development and achievements

Qualifications:

  • Valid Special Education teaching certification or licensure
  • Experience working with a range of disabilities in educational settings
  • Strong understanding of federal and state special education laws and guidelines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage classroom behavior and foster positive peer relationships

Location:This position is onsite in Saint Paul, MN, providing direct interaction with students and staff within the school.
