About the Company:
Our client, a boutique CPA firm with a business management arm, is seeking a Full-charge Bookkeeper with the ability to work in their NYC office. Must have Quickbooks.
Your primary responsibilities would include, but not be limited to:
- Full client accounting services and general ledger maintenance.
- Bank reconciliations.
- Preparation of bank deposits.
- Monitoring cash flow.
- Accounts payable management including recording invoices and processing payment.
- Assist with vendor issues and discrepancies.
- Accounts receivable management including invoicing customers and following up on outstanding balances due.
- Client correspondence and communication.
- Reporting to managers and partners.
- Entering or importing weekly payroll entries.
- Preparation of quarterly payroll tax returns.
- Prepare supporting reports for worker’s compensation audit or other insurance audits.
Requirements:
- Must have similar bookkeeping experience in professional services environment.
- Must have commanding knowledge of QuickBooks.
- Must be proficient in MS Excel.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication skills for interfacing with clients.
- Ability to identify discrepancies and know how to correct them.
