Trinity Products is in search of a Dyna Operator for our St. Charles Mill. Position is 2nd Shift (Monday - Friday, 1:00pm to 9:30pm). Main focus of this position is processing steel pipe according to work order instructions by cutting pipe to specified lengths and end requirements. Hands-on training provided!
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Utilize Dyna Machine (standalone plasma unit) to make circumferential cuts to steel pipe.
- Keep the flow of steel materials moving at a steady rate by multi-tasking and having a strong attention to detail.
- Utilize various hand tools and equipment.
- Utilize mobile device applications and programs.
- Perform various mathematical calculations.
Requirements:
- Steel toe boots and sleeved shirts are required and the employee’s responsibility. Hard hat, safety glasses, ear plugs, & protective gloves provided by Trinity.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with accuracy top of mind.
- Must be able to work on your feet for extended periods of time.
- Must be comfortable working in varied ambient temperatures
- Ability to multi-task and with strong attention to detail.
- Must be able to read tape measure.
- Must be able to read and understand work orders.
