Job Summary:
We’re hiring Snow Plow Drivers to join our winter snow removal team. You’ll be responsible for keeping roads, parking lots, walkways, and entrances clear and safe during snow and ice events.
This is an on-call position and requires availability anytime snow or ice occurs, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Drivers must be dependable and able to respond quickly to winter weather events when called.
Shifts are on-call and range from 8 to 15 hours and are often overnight depending on the storm event. May require longer hours for larger storms. The season starts on the first snow fall.
Responsibilities:
- Operate snow plow equipment to clear roads, parking lots, and sidewalks during winter weather conditions
- Clear snow and ice from designated areas using shovels, snow blowers, and other tools
- Follow established routes and schedules for efficient snow plowing operations
- Use smartphone app for documentation
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on snow plow equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Monitor weather conditions and respond promptly to snow removal requests
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Plow Driver required
- Clean driving record
- Dependable, detail-oriented, and team-focused
- Reliable transportation to Troy, Michigan
- Ability to work safely and efficiently under winter conditions
