Compensation: $150,000 - $200,00 Annual Salary

Position Description:
We're seeking an experienced Psychiatrist (MD) for our inpatient hospital in Dumfries Virginia. This is a part-time hybrid role at 20 hours per week, spread across all 5 weekdays (Monday-Friday). Candidates must also be available on call for medical emergencies and consultations from staff and exec directors.
Qualifications of the Psychiatrist ( MD ):
- Doctor of Medicine Degree ( MD ) and American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology ( ABPN ) certification.
- 2+ years of experience as a Psychiatrist ( MD )
- Familiar with diagnosis and treatment of mental illness and addiction issues.
- DEA license.
Responsibilities of the Psychiatrist ( MD ):
- Assess patients through interviews, observations, tests, and medical history reviews.
- Conduct examinations of ill patients and evaluate symptoms to determine their condition.
- Develop comprehensive treatment plans and prescribe medication as needed.
- Oversee the education program and provide training of residents in medicine.
