Locums | Neurosurgery PA/NP | Inpatient | Billings, MTWhy This Role

• 7-on/7-off inpatient schedule with no call required
• High-acuity Level 1 trauma center with MICU, SICU, and ED coverage
• Opportunity to work closely with 7 neurosurgeons on post-op and neurocritical care patients

Assignment Details

• Start Date: ASAP
• End Date: Ongoing
• Coverage Type: Inpatient (No Call)
• Schedule: 7-on/7-off, 6:30am-6:30pm
• EMR: Cerner

Clinical Details

• Volume: 10 patients per shift
• Beds in Department: 10
• Practice Setting: 100% inpatient floor coverage
• Trauma Level: 1
• Stroke Certified Facility
• Support: 2 PA/NPs
• No OR time or supervision responsibilities

Requirements

• Board Certified or Eligible PA/NP
• BLS and ACLS required
• Robust experience in neurosurgical patient management
• Neurocritical care and post-operative care experience required
• Clean history

Skills Needed

• Inpatient neurosurgical management of spinal and cranial cases
• ICU coverage in MICU, SICU, and ED
• Post-op care and daily rounding on assigned and unassigned neurosurgical patients
• Experience collaborating with neurosurgeons in high-acuity environments

• Rates: Not published - facility is accepting bids
• Malpractice: Provided and paid for by Archway Locums
