We are seeking a skilled Production Supervisor to lead and manage the production of cord sets. The ideal candidate will have experience in the cable, wire, harness, or injection mold industry and a strong background in Quality Assurance (QA). This role involves managing and developing policies, improving processes, and ensuring the production of high-quality finished products.
Responsibilities
- Manage and develop policies to improve processes and ensure quality finished products.
- Work closely with the Production Manager to ensure product quality.
- Maintain current knowledge and standards for crimped wire connections.
- Supervise a staff of approximately 25 hourly employees.
- Manage production expectations within the 2nd shift.
- Ensure accurate communication both verbally and in writing.
- Communicate with shift supervisors and other departments, including maintenance and inventory.
- Take full responsibility for the smooth operation of the shift and employees.
- Ensure proper training and adherence to safety protocols and processes.
- Take an active role in continuous improvement.
- Ensure all goods are manufactured to company specifications.
Essential Skills
- Experience in running a QA department and performing hands-on QA tasks.
- Previous supervisory experience.
- Ability to create and follow schedules.
- Ability to work hands-on with a team to meet productivity metrics.
- Previous electrical and mechanical knowledge.
- Leadership, organizational, and motivational skills.

Work Environment
The work environment is an injection molding shop, which may have a plastic smell and can be dirty due to machinery. The role operates during the 2nd shift, ensuring a dynamic and hands-on production setting.
Job Type & Location
This is a Permanent position based out of Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $80000.00/yr.
