We are currently looking for a Destination Coordinator to work in Plex Travel (https://www.theplextravel.com/).

As Destination Coordinator you are responsible for assisting the Destination Manager in successfully organizing all housing and event services for groups utilizing the TBK Bank Sports Complex, so their stay is seamless and memorable. The perfect candidate will have strong computer skills, communication skills, and the attention to detail required to ensure all plans and logistics for the group are flawlessly executed.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assists the Destination Manager with the request for proposal (RFP) process for new tournaments, tracks responses, and adds new partner hotels.
• Work closely with the Destination Manger to assist with room block requests, reservations, and hotel inventory management.
• Quickly and efficiently uses their computer skills to create room blocks and new events using specified computer software.
• Continually seeks input from end users and updates The Plex Travel website accordingly.
• Communicates weekly room night pickup verification for all events to partner hotels.
• Facilitate the reconciliation process at the conclusion of each event. Verify hotel pickup reports and provide information to accounting department in a timely manner.
• Send team contact information to each hotel partner weekly.
• Assists area partners in facilitating special offers and coupons for teams visiting the Quad Cities, e.g. restaurants, bowling, golf, etc.
• Performs other duties as may be required within own department or for other departments.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required.
• Strong computer skills, communication skills, and attention to detail required.
• Sales experience preferred, but not required.
• Participation or knowledge of team sports preferred, but not required.
