LHH is looking for a detail-oriented and patient-focused Patient Registration Specialist to join our client's healthcare team. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering excellent patient care. It is a full-time, contract to hire position in the Albuquerque, NM area.
Key Responsibilities:

Greet and register patients for appointments or hospital admissions

Verify insurance and obtain necessary authorizations

Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records

Schedule appointments and manage provider calendars

Collect and process co-pays and billing information

Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to ensure smooth patient flow
What We’re Looking For:
-
Previous experience in a medical registrar or patient access role preferred

Strong organizational and communication skills

Familiarity with EHR/EMR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner) a plus

Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism

High school diploma or equivalent required; additional healthcare admin training a plus
Details
Schedule: Mon-Fri either 6:45am-3:45pm or 7am-4pm. This position requires working 8-9 Saturday's a year that is on a rotational schedule.
Position Type: Contract to Hire, Full time
Pay Range: $15.75 for non-bilingual, $16.75 for candidates Bilingual in English/Spanish.
Location: Onsite in Albuquerque, NM
