The Systems Analyst role is a function within the Supply Chain Management (SCM) Center of Excellence (COE). This role supports our strategy on category ordering management and process innovation. The Systems Analyst leads procurement, Business Intelligence (BI) tool, and Artificial Intelligence (AI)/Machine Learning (ML) initiatives by collaborating across teams to design and implement solutions that improve company processes.

Key responsibilities include being the procurement lead over the Coupa platform, responsible for aligning Coupa functionality with procurement strategies, policies, and business objectives. This role oversees the design, configuration, and continuous improvement of end-to-end procurement processes, while considering the best user experience. This role partners with AP, IT, and business stakeholders to drive standardization and best practices across the organization. In addition, the Systems Analyst will analyze and draft complex systems that integrate AI to ensure systems are intelligent, adaptive, and data driven.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

BUSINESS APPLICATION & PRESENTATION

  • Provide functional support for and lead SCM purchase-to-pay systems and processes
  • Lead innovation opportunities to optimize all systems related to Purchase-to-Pay (P2P) activities and drive those initiatives in support of the entire SCM team
  • Manage the Purchase-to-Pay system upgrade processes for Supply Chain
  • Coordinate with IT to provide support/identify training needs and make recommendations for functionality and business process improvements
  • Responsible for SCM dashboard, spend analytics and other critical SCM reporting.
  • Assist with SCM change management strategies and implementation plans
  • Assist with internal and external benchmarking
  • Coordinate Coupa training initiatives
  • Define business and systems requirements including documenting processes, business requirements and resulting technology needs
  • Develop polished executive-level presentations and confidently deliver the information to internal business associates and external clients in a clear and concise fashion
  • Assist in identifying best practices through a review of processes
  • Establish and maintain relationships with various departments across the company
  • Educate stakeholders on the potential of AI technologies and their application in system designs.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand AI use cases and how they align with business objectives, ensuring AI projects are clearly defined and prioritized.
  • Analyze current systems and processes to identify areas for AI or ML integration leveraging these technologies to drive efficiencies and improvements.
  • Act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders to align AI solutions with organizational goals.
  • Work with large datasets to train, test, and validate AI models, ensuring they function effectively within the system.
  • Monitor AI system performance post-implementation, gather feedback, and adjust models to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
  • Gather appropriate resources to complete assigned projects on time and within budget
  • Escalate obstacles/issues to meeting timelines and deliverables
  • Report project status according to prescribed timelines for a given project

MINIMUM Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field
  • AI/ML-related certifications (e.g., Google Professional Machine Learning Engineer, Microsoft AI Engineer) would be a plus

Experience

  • 4+ years’ experience as a Systems or Business Analyst
  • 2+ years’ experience with Coupa Software or other e-procurement -software (e.g. Ariba, SAP, Oracle, etc.)
  • Previous experience in integrating AI/ML into enterprise systems or software development is highly desirable.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Strong organizational, planning, and project management skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to analyze data, leveraging information to provide clear, concise and supported recommendations for action.
  • Ability to effectively collaborate and communicate with other stakeholder groups.
  • Capacity to work independently and simultaneously handle a variety of complex matters under deadline pressure.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SQL and Power BI.
  • Strong written communication and verbal skills.
  • Knowledge in operational business processes and systems
  • Demonstrated knowledge of process improvement
  • Understanding of databases, logic views, query tools, and standard file layouts for conversions and interfaces
  • Knowledge of project management and change management methodologies and processes.
  • Knowledge of AI technologies such as machine learning, deep learning, natural language processing (NLP), and predictive analytics.
  • Familiarity with AI frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn), data processing tools (Pandas, Spark), and cloud-based AI platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).
