Key Responsibilities:

• Actively participate in energy storage and photovoltaic projects, including CAD production, design documents, and basic specifications.
• Oversee full project design and ensure the quality of work in developing final construction documents.
• Engage in client interface and meetings, managing tasks, timelines, and deliverables.
• Independently complete engineering tasks such as Battery Energy Storage design, Solar photovoltaic design, and design drafting using AutoCAD.
• Perform voltage calculations, conductor/raceway sizing, electrical distribution design, and medium voltage design.
• Conduct power studies using ETAP and coordinate with utilities.
• Review codes and prepare specifications.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of BESS and solar experience with a BS in Electrical Engineering.
• Proven ability to produce quality construction documents in a mid or senior design role, while mentoring junior staff.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Experience with production-related software (ETAP, PV Syst) and equipment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
