The Marketing Coordinator provides administrative and organizational support to the marketing team. This position focuses on coordinating projects, maintaining files and databases, assisting with content updates, and supporting various marketing activities under supervision.
Essential Functions
- Handle routine administrative tasks including scheduling meetings, updating website content, and assisting with event coordination.
- Assist with content creation by preparing basic marketing materials and updating existing materials for different uses.
- Support social media activities by scheduling posts and monitoring accounts under supervision.
- Help coordinate projects by organizing files, tracking deadlines, and following up on tasks to keep projects moving forward.
- Organize marketing materials and help distribute content to sales teams.
- Collect information from websites and reports as assigned.
- Maintain consistent and reliable attendance
- Maintain positive, professional relationships with clients and colleagues
- Proactively protect internal and external confidential information by complying with all security policies
- Maintain accurate “real time” records in all Plus systems
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Strong customer service and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to be a self-starter and work autonomously, as well as be part of a successful team
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to respond resourcefully and constructively to new demands, priorities, and challenges
- Demonstrate initiative and ability to learn new software programs or applications that are used in Plus’s business operations
- Excellent command of English language and grammar
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to challenge existing processes and provide a strategic, innovative approach
- Strong knowledge of Associated Press Style Guidelines
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or related field preferred
- 1-3 years of marketing, communications, or related experience preferred
- Background in content creation, social media, project coordination, or marketing operations valued
