Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An opportunity is available for a dedicated Special Education Teacher to support diverse learners in a school setting located in West Valley City, UT. This role involves working closely with students who have special needs, helping to create inclusive and effective learning environments. The position includes travel responsibilities to various school locations within the region.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing and implementing individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to each students unique needs
- Collaborating with general education teachers, parents, and specialists to support student progress
- Monitoring and documenting student achievements and challenges to inform instructional adjustments
- Adapting teaching methods and materials to meet the diverse learning styles and abilities of students
- Participating in school meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities as required
Desired qualifications and experience:
- Valid teaching certification or licensure in Special Education
