We are seeking an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform diagnostic nuclear medicine imaging and provide high-quality patient care. In this role, you will prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals, operate advanced imaging systems such as SPECT/CT and PET/CT, and ensure compliance with radiation safety standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine and complex nuclear medicine imaging procedures using SPECT, SPECT/CT, and PET/CT systems
  • Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals via injection, inhalation, or oral routes
  • Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures while explaining the process and ensuring patient comfort
  • Assist with cardiac stress testing, including IV starts and EKG lead placement
  • Evaluate imaging data for technical quality and perform additional views when necessary
  • Perform quality control and calibration of imaging equipment and hot lab instrumentation
  • Maintain accurate documentation and transfer imaging studies to PACS systems
  • Follow radiation safety guidelines (ALARA) and perform contamination monitoring


Required Qualifications:

  • Certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology through NMTCB or ARRT (N)
  • Active and unrestricted Radiologic Technology license in a U.S. state or territory
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
  • Minimum 3 years of Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience
  • Experience performing SPECT, SPECT/CT, or PET/CT imaging procedures
