Location: Milwaukee, WI
Duration: 3-Month Contract
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Leave Administration Specialist to manage end-to-end employee leave processes, including FMLA, ADA accommodations, workers’ compensation coordination, and paid time-off programs. This role will work closely with HR teams, employees, and third-party vendors to ensure compliance and a seamless leave experience.
Key ResponsibilitiesLeave Administration
- Manage employee leave requests from initiation through return-to-work
- Administer programs including FMLA, ADA accommodations, workers’ compensation, and PTO
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and company leave policies
HR Coordination & Support
- Partner with HR teams and third-party leave vendors to coordinate cases
- Provide guidance and support to employees regarding leave policies and processes
- Address employee inquiries in a timely and professional manner
Data Management & Compliance
- Maintain accurate employee records in HRIS systems (e.g., Workday)
- Ensure data integrity and compliance with applicable regulations
- Assist with audits, reporting, and documentation
Required Qualifications
- Experience in leave administration, HR operations, or benefits coordination
- Strong knowledge of FMLA, ADA, state leave laws, and PTO programs
- Experience with HRIS systems (Workday or similar preferred)
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to handle sensitive information with a high level of confidentiality
Preferred Skills
- Prior experience working with third-party leave vendors
- Familiarity with compliance audits and reporting processes
