A-Line Staffing is actively recruiting a Customer Service Representative for HAP, a leading healthcare organization. This role provides meaningful work supporting members across all HAP product lines and offers opportunities for long-term growth within a national health system.


Customer Service Representative Compensation:
$20/hr


Customer Service Representative Position Highlights:

  • Fully onsite role
  • Full-time | 40 hours per week
  • Monday–Friday, [Insert Start-End Time]
  • Training conducted onsite
  • Must be dependable and professional with strong customer service skills


Customer Service Representative Responsibilities:

  • Respond to inquiries by telephone, mail, and in person; research and resolve complaints and appeals
  • Educate existing and prospective members on policies, procedures, product offerings, benefit plans, and coverage provisions
  • Document all incoming inquiries accurately to track member inquiry history and trends
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations
  • Monitor workflow and follow up on outstanding cases to ensure timely resolution
  • Interact with providers and support departments to ensure member needs are met
  • Recommend process improvements based on trends observed during member interactions
  • Assist with departmental projects, member enrollment periods, and corporate initiatives
  • Participate in training and development sessions to enhance skills and performance


Customer Service Representative Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of recent customer service or call center experience within the last 3 years
  • Dependable, professional, and able to demonstrate integrity, patience, maturity, empathy, and tact
  • Strong problem-solving skills, flexibility, and good judgment
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities concurrently with appropriate follow-up
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal communication, and business writing skills
  • Proficiency with PC and Microsoft Office programs
  • Fundamental understanding of HMO/PPO/POS delivery systems and claims billing
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and overtime as requested


Customer Service Representative Preferred Experience:

  • Previous healthcare or insurance experience
  • Familiarity with HAP products and services
