Contract Inspector- Hopkinsville
**0-2 Years of experience required**
**The set shift time currently is 5am - 3:30pm (4 days a week), however be aware this is subject to change at any given time.
Shifts are split to allow for reasonable workloads.**
**This role is 100% onsite Hopkinsville, KY**
**Duration: 12 Months**
This is part of a 3-person rotating shift. The schedule is based upon amounts of product run each week, so shift hours may vary week to week. Schedules are planned the week prior to production, with a requirement of working a late shift rotation every third week, if necessary. Hours typically vary between 5am - 3:30pm but can be as early as 3:30am and as late as 11pm (although this is not typical). Shifts are split to allow for reasonable workloads. **Long sleeve shirts and pants are required, as well as steel toed shoes, but are NOT provided by the company. Earplugs, safety glasses, and hairnets (and beard-nets, if necessary) are also required in production areas, and are provided by the company.
Contract Inspector Primary Responsibilities:
- -Sample collection at various processing points
- -Visual sample evaluation
- -Sample collection and analysis recordkeeping
- -Routine balance/instrument verification and documentation
- -Visual inspection of process lines
- -General housekeeping of work area
- -Other assigned duties
Ideal Candidate -Experience in a quality and/or manufacturing setting -Basic computer skills (Windows, MS Office, LIMS, etc.)

- MUST BE ABLE TO WORK IN A HOT, DUSTY ENVIRONMENT
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to work flexible hours on a rotational schedule (early AM to late PM) -
- Ability to work overtime/weekends -
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. -
