About the Role:

The Certified Nursing Assistant - Medical Care (CNA MC) plays a critical role in delivering compassionate and high-quality patient care within various healthcare settings across the United States. This position focuses on assisting patients with their daily living activities while supporting the medical team in monitoring and maintaining patient health. The CNA MC ensures that patients' physical and emotional needs are met, promoting comfort, safety, and dignity at all times. By accurately observing and reporting changes in patient conditions, the CNA MC contributes to effective treatment plans and overall patient outcomes. This role requires a dedicated professional who can work collaboratively with healthcare providers to enhance the patient care experience.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Current and valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification recognized in the United States.
  • Completion of a state-approved CNA training program.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or equivalent.
  • Ability to pass a background check and meet health screening requirements.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to follow detailed instructions.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a medical care or long-term care facility.
  • Additional certifications such as CPR, First Aid, or specialized patient care training.
  • Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
  • Bilingual skills to support diverse patient populations.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care including bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, and mobility assistance.
  • Monitor vital signs and report any changes or concerns to nursing staff promptly.
  • Assist with medical procedures and support nursing staff as needed during patient treatments.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for patients, adhering to infection control protocols.
  • Document patient information accurately and communicate effectively with the healthcare team to ensure continuity of care.

The CNA MC utilizes strong interpersonal and communication skills daily to interact compassionately with patients and collaborate with healthcare professionals.
