We are seeking an experienced Inpatient Pharmacist for a 13-week contract at a hospital in Edgewood, KY, just across the Ohio state line near Cincinnati. This role focuses on clinical monitoring, therapeutic interventions, and ensuring accurate medication dispensing.

Position Details:

• Start Date: April 21

• Duration: 13 weeks

• Shift: Evenings, 1:30 PM 10:00 PM (5x8-hour shifts)

• Weekend Rotation: Every 4th weekend

• System: EPIC

Duties:

• Provide pharmaceutical care with an emphasis on clinical monitoring and therapeutic interventions to improve patient outes

• Dispense and distribute medications with accuracy and efficiency

• Ensure pliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards

• Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize medication therapy

• Educate patients and healthcare providers on medication usage and safety

• Assist in maintaining performance improvement processes for better medication use

Requirements:

• Experience: 2+ years of inpatient experience highly preferred

• License: KY pharmacist license

• Vaccination: Flu shot required
