Job Summary

We’re seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accounts Payable Accountant to join our finance team. This role is responsible for managing vendor payments, maintaining accurate records, and supporting operational efficiency across the accounts payable function.

Key Responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices, purchase orders, and payment requests.
• Verify billing accuracy and resolve discrepancies with vendors or internal teams.
• Ensure timely payments in line with company policies and contract terms.
• Maintain organized records of AP transactions and support audits.
• Reconcile vendor statements and assist with month-end close.
• Prepare and process checks, ACH transfers, and wire payments.
• Communicate with project managers and procurement to validate expenses.
• Monitor aging reports and follow up on outstanding balances.
• Support financial reporting and budgeting efforts.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in accounts payable or general accounting.
• Proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, NetSuite, etc.).
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage high-volume invoice processing.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred.

• QuickBooks: 1 year (Required)
• Billings: 1 year (Required)
• Invoices: 1 year (Required)
• Accounts payable: 2 years (Required)
